The Idaho Taxidermists Association is a volunteer-run, non-profit association which was formed in 1998 to promote the art of taxidermy.
Our goals are:
Just as important, though less visible, is the time we spend coordinating with government officials. The association is important to taxidermists as a unified voice in this time of increasing bureaucratic regulations. The Idaho Taxidermists Association was instrumental in simplifying the records we are required to maintain for the Department of Fish and Game.
Our goals are:
- To promote high standards by providing our members opportunities to learn and improve their skills
- To foster the appreciation of quality taxidermy art in the public
- To aid the taxidermy industry as a whole by lobbying for fair legislation
- To encourage the exchange of ideas and methods among members
