The Idaho Taxidermists Association is exited to offer a certification program for its members. Points can be earned by winning ribbons at the annual ITA competition.
IDAHO CERTIFIED TAXIDERMISTS’ PROGRAM
1. Your Idaho Taxidermists’ Association membership must be current and in good standing.
2. The first time fee for certification is $50.00. You can chose from any or all of the four categories. There is no additional fee for certifying in multiple categories, even if the certification happens during different years. (For example, you pay $50.00 to certify in BIRDS in 2006. You meet the qualifications to certify in MAMMAL in 2007 – you will only need to apply for certification, but will not have to pay the $50.00, only re-certification fees that are applicable.
3. Annual renewal for certification is required to maintain certification status. Renewal fee is $20.00 and should be paid in addition to your annual membership fee. Failure to renew during a one-year period will require only paying the $20.00 fee, but will not require re-qualification for status. Failure to pay renewal for a period of over one year will require that you re-enter certification as a new participant.
4. Failure to renew carries a forfeiture of all uses and benefits of the program including the use of the certification logo and any advertisements that indicate the taxidermist is certified by the ITA.
