WORLD-CLASS JUDGES THIS YEAR ARE:
Fish - Al Bakon
Birds - Darin Gardner
Mammals - Dave Ferguson
Divisions are Youth and Adult Novice - Open - Masters - And the new COMMERCIAL division ( mounts receive a ribbon placement and comment card, Scored at 10 feet, additional critique is available at $10 per mount)
SPECIAL AWARDS
Best in Show – trophy sponsored by the ITA to Judge’s Choice Best in show
Breakthrough Award – trophy and $100 gift certificate from Breakthrough Magazine for Judge’s
Choice Best in Show
Competitors Award – every taxidermist entering 4 or more mounts can entered Award goes to the
competitor with the highest average score on four mounts, entered in the same category or
different categories, in Open or Masters Divisions.
Collective Artist- This is a special division for two or more taxidermists working together on a
single piece. Entry can be single mount or a piece with several animals. Collective Artist mounts
are not eligible for other awards.
McKenzie awards for best fish, best bird, best whitetail, best life-size.
Research Novice Adult Award - $200 gift certificate for the best mount in Novice division.
Best All Around Taxidermist – trophy goes to highest combined score for 4 mounts – one each in
Birds, Fish or Reptile, Gamehead, and Lifesize. Open and Masters only.

Many vendors and suppliers will be one sight to by product and supplies from. The Wildlife
Gallery will be there with their truck and trailer to pick up hides to be tanned as a convenience for
taxidermists attending the show. Show schedule and seminars to be announced soon on the facebook page. Camping will be available for those who wish and several hotels within a short distance from the
fair grounds. A list of hotels will be available shortly on the facebook page. Come enjoy what the Idaho show has to offer and being just a short month away from the NTA
national show come try out your piece and see how it holds up before the nationals show.
